43 Manual Roller Blinds including single and double systems were fitted into Townhouses with a combination of Euroscreen® Transparent and Madison Two Room Darkening as the chosen fabric ranges. Euroscreen® is a transparent fabric that allows solar protection without blocking your view, while Madison Two fabrics do not allow light into the room, giving total privacy. Both fabrics boasting superior heat and reflection properties which assist in maintaining an energy efficient environment.
At project completion, 100 percent of all products specified and used were compliant with GBCA Green Star VLT and VOC requirements and was awarded Australia’s first 6 Star Green Star Design rating for a residential project. Additionally, it has won HIA’s Australian GreenSmart Townhouse/Villa Development, as well as being Architecture & Design 2018 Sustainability Awards Winner for Green Building of the Year.
